Epic Games is looking for an Asset Implementer on our Fortnite Hard Surface team.

  • Implement 2D/3D artwork from internal and external sources into stable, workable assets in- engine (materials and texture settings, LODs, animation plugins, etc.)
  • Work on a multiple assets simultaneously and update other disciplines once work is done. Problem solve efficiently, finding a problem and communicating with various disciplines to find a solution
  • Identify problems within the implementation pipeline, working with engineers to create new tools and processes
  • Organize asset structures and keep them uniform across multiple programs, fixing and re- implementing assets when errors occur
  • Follow assets down the entire Concept-to-Gameplay pipeline, keeping assets up to date in engine throughout their entire lifetime
  • A Generalist that has knowledge of various art and production computer programs (Maya, Photoshop, Perforce, Jira, Unreal)
  • Can keep organized and ahead of the curve in a fast-paced production environment
  • A moderate understanding of UE5 and its various editors (FX, 2D, 3D, Levels, animation, etc.) A self-sustaining person who can take charge of their own work, but will reach out and communicate with others on a daily basis when needed
