Why we need you:
Our multiplayer online game Golf Rival (https://www.zynga.com/games/golf-rival/) had over 6 million downloads last year, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Game Designer to work with the Game Lead, Product Manager, and other Lead positions to help us overcome challenges and lead our design team to achieve even greater success.

What you’ll do:
– Manage the project delivery from concept to completion.
– Develop and maintain delivery plans, manages milestone forecasts, and is prepared to anticipate, identify and resolve any risks/delays to delivery plans.
– Relly on development priorities and milestones set by Game Lead on a per-project basis (works with Game Lead, Dev + all other required Leads).
– Keeps all necessary parties informed on a regular basis of the current progress.
– Manages expectations for projects, resolving any competing priorities or conflicts.
– Assists with coordinating the product release process with all required parties.
– Make things happen when others only see roadblocks, coordinate and prioritize work, bring focus and clarity.
Skills & Requirements
What we are looking for:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in game project management.
– Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of large-scale game projects.
– An Agile pro – you’ve successfully lead teams using a variety of practices including scrum, kanban, and lean product management, and you’re able to adapt existing models to fit the team’s needs.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop and implement effective solutions.
– Passionate about the gaming industry, with a deep understanding of game development processes and technologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
– English as a working language
