As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Global Compensation Business Partner. The Compensation Partner will be key in designing and implementing compensation programs and providing excellent client-facing compensation support. The Compensation Partner will be a key member of the Compensation team, ensuring the success of the function and striving for continuous improvement. This individual must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, make sound business decisions, influence business leaders, manage details, and deliver results company-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop policies and programs that support our goals and align with our business strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and SME problem solver and play a governance role in creating, negotiating, and reviewing compensation programs and business rules.
  • Diagnose gaps between current and desired outcomes.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and planning to improve our compensation programs and processes continuously.
  • Provide ongoing support for HRBP and TA teams to appropriately align pay with NetEase’s competitive practice and philosophy.
  • Use strong communication and analytical skills to drive understanding of compensation philosophies, practices and administration among leaders and managers and assist in cascading to all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in hands-on designing and implementing compensation programs in high-growth, quickly scaling global organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; business administration, finance, economics, engineering or other quantitative focus highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs (base/bonus/equity), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, job evaluation, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a deep interest in analyzing data to drive sound decision-making. Workday experience is a plus.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, continuously changing, fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range: USD: $120,000 – $196,000; CAD: $93,000 – $149,000

The expected annual base pay ranges reflected in this job description are applicable to individuals residing in or working within a designated location. Any final compensation offer will depend on various factors. As part of an overall package, NetEase employees can take advantage of NetEase’s comprehensive benefits and discretionary incentive plans, provided that they comply with the policies and guidelines governing those programs.
