As a Senior Audio Designer you will be part of the audio team for World of Tanks PC. In this role you will be responsible for the sound creation for the game features from beginning to end, working with audio libraries, recording equipment, or any new approach you might bring with you. You will implement, optimize and mix AAA quality audio for World of Tanks PC working in the new fully equipped audio studios in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will be joining a friendly team of sound people, programmers, artists and designers, and will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the sound of our legendary game. Your responsibilities will encompass both sound design and implementation, playing a crucial role in establishing the game’s atmosphere and unifying all elements seamlessly.

World of Tanks PC audio design team lead

  • Create and implement sound for vehicles, ambience, weapons, voiceovers, UI, etc.
  • Think up and assemble interactive audio systems using both wwise and game engine
  • Optimize, mix and deliver AAA quality audio for World of Tanks PC game
  • Make research in a field of interactive audio in games and implement the results to existing pipelines
  • Take part in audio tools creation and upgrade of existing tooling together with audio team members and programmers
  • Work in collaboration with visual effects artist, animators, game and UX designers, programmers to create consistent audio-visual experience for the players
  • Experience working as a senior sound designer in the games industry (PC and/or console games)
  • Knowledge in sound design full-cycle creation and implementation
  • Strong skills in using Audiokinetic Wwise and deep understanding of approaches to use it on side of the game engines
  • Experience with spatial audio production, implementation and mixing pipelines both on side of audio engine, and game engine
  • Experience in sound effects recordings using different techniques
  • Experience in voiceover recording sessions
  • Experience of working with version control system (svn, git, etc), documentation and task management tools (jira, confluence)
  • Experience working with cross-discipline teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong sense of responsibility
  • Experience with authoring and mixing games in surround formats
  • Experience in working with the audio implementation in Unity and/or Unreal engine
  • Music composing and production skills
  • Experience scripting game audio into a project

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 3800 – 4800 monthly gross.
