Senior Manager, Data Analytics

- Team Building: Foster a high-performance culture, leading analysts delivering multiple projects, priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into large, complex data sets to extract actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Analyze player behavior, game performance, and trends to inform product strategies and optimizations.
- Analytics Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive analytics roadmaps tailored to specific game verticals. Define key metrics, establish data collection processes, and implement analytical frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
- Studio Collaboration: Partner directly with the studio development and product teams to translate data insights into meaningful player outcomes.
- AB Testing: Design and implement advanced statistical testing for specific problem-solving needs (e.g. A/B testing)
- Data Infrastructure: Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability.
- Mentorship: Mentor and coach both new and experienced data analytics colleagues in the development of their skills and complex business problem resolution
- Reporting: Support/lead the identification, development, and tracking of KPI goals / targets to support business initiatives at all levels of the organization.
- BS or MS in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Statistics or Computer Science, or other analytical discipline
- 4+ years of experience as a manager/leader of data analytics, applying statistical analysis to B2C consumer behaviors (at least 2+ years in video gaming)
- Experience leading peers through end-to-end data analytics projects (e.g. from problem and requirements definition to code/model validation and reporting deployment) required
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and drive to complete projects
- Experience using SQL, including complex queries from multiple data sources
- Experience creating, operating and analyzing multiple simultaneous A/B tests
- Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate complex results throughout an organization.
- Working Knowledge of visualization tools: Looker (Preferred), Qlikview, Tableau or PowerBI.
- A passion or strong desire to help create world class F2P games
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $160,000 – $212,400 plus equity, bonus and benefits, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
