Working closely with our colleagues at Bad Robot Productions, our projects unite our extensive network of games, TV, and film industry talent to create original IPs, expansive worlds and tell new stories across all media platforms which are as fun to watch as they are to play.
Bad Robot Games is looking for a UX/UI Artist who is a creative problem solver and cares about the player experience. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of iconography and visual design, within the context of game user experience and presentation.
A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of UX/UI art and design is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help define a minimal but effective UI
- Coordinate and collaborate with key team members to achieve desired quality in an asynchronous environment
- Sketch/Prototype/Test/Implement your work into Unreal Engine 5 by connecting to existing Blueprints
- Research usability to help define actionable steps in pursuing a great experience for our players
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in AAA game development
- Strong understanding of iconography, layout, and visual design principles and how it relates to game design
- Ability to create AAA quality UI art assets (Icons, Animations, Fonts, etc) within the Adobe Suite and Figma from concept to completion and implementation
- Experience with implementing art and animation assets into engine via Unreal Blueprints that have already been established
- Creative problem solving

- Knowledge of accessibility features and how to solve for them within the context of the project
Annual Salary Range: $85,000 – $90,000
Our ranges are based on California market rate regardless of work location in the US.
