Job Description
This is a remote UI Artist job role.
Pay Range: $40/hr – $49/hr
Our client is looking for a UI Artist job to leverage industry UI/UX design knowledge and artistic ability to create appealing solutions for a broad host of visual needs, including in-game media such as icons, headers, and screen layouts, as well as other various other types of graphic design and prototype UI.
The target hiring compensation range for this UI Artist job role is $40/hr – $49/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Skills & Requirements
The UI Artist job Responsibilities:
- Ability to create and execute high-quality design work consistent with the visual style developed in collaboration with the Art Director and UX Director
- Create in-game UI assets
- Effectively manage multiple assignments with varying end dates simultaneously
The UI Artist job Qualifications:
- BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or similar
- 3+ years in UI artist role or similar on AAA titles
- Strong understanding of UI and graphic design (layout/composition, typography, iconography)
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, design trends, techniques
- Experience with 3D modeling software, Adobe After Effects, Perforce
- Experience with animation/motion graphics
