We are seeking a Data Operations Analyst to work within the Marketing Technology team to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and standardization of our marketing data, such as marketing spend, installs, user activity and revenue. This data is generated from or sent to a number of different external partners, and it is crucial that all of this data is constantly monitored and any issues are quickly solved. By ensuring the data we work with is accurate and following the specified format, the role will have an enormous impact on the quality of decisions made in several company departments such as Marketing, Product and Finance.
- Routine monitor of external data connections to ensure they are working properly and act whenever necessary. Also monitor data to assess quality of Data Engineering pulling from external platforms, raising tickets whenever a re-pull is needed.
- Conduct data investigations with Looker or Excel to investigate cause of data differences whenever discrepancies are found across sources. Open tickets and follow up on issues with our data partners whenever an issue on their side is detected. Follow up with internal teams on any actions that need input from our marketing partners.
- Ensure correct allocation of metrics like spend and revenue across our games and marketing partners in our external data tools..
- Execute procedures to set up connections to new marketing partners or to launch new games on our data partners
- Produce weekly written reports to User Acquisition and Monetisation teams to showcase data reconciliation status, present updates on ongoing issues and present new concerns needing their attention. Also present monthly fraud reports
- Execute recurrent checks on our data to ensure standardized format are being applied
- Strong analytical and data problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, experience with a data visualization tool such as Looker
- Attention to detail, process ownership
- Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency
