CCP is looking for a Senior Mobile Game Data Analyst to join our game team in Shanghai.
As a successful candidate you will perform in-depth data analyses, visualizations and storytelling based on the data generated from our mobile games. We are looking for a candidate to help the team develop the game further and make data driven decisions. An ideal candidate would be someone who loves analysing and interpreting data but also has a product management mindset.
You will collaborate closely with our development and growth team, assisting them with getting players into the game and ensuring their retention.
This position offers the possibility to be situated in our Shanghai or London studio.
Your tasks:
- Explore and analyze data that influences the future development of our mobile games.
- Create visuals and stories to explain findings from data analysis initiatives.
- Support both development and growth team by coming up with actionable analyses across game design, monetization, and marketing strategies.
- Use sound analytics to improve our mobile games, from user acquisition to game play.
- Participate in the adventure of building online entertainment for the masses.
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in data analytics or adjacent fields (statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, finance etc.)
- SQL querying skills – Ability to write queries on your own and review and optimize other people’s code.
- Experience with at least one BI tool, such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
- Experience with data and visualization in either Python or R.
- Experience working as a mobile game analyst.
- Ability to communicate well in English and Mandarin both verbally and in writing.
